How to Get to Dairycon

Turn left when you get past the tree...

It's easy to get to Dairycon! We're in the middle of the city, at 1 Division street in Fond du Lac. It's a straight shot from most any location in the state. Fond du Lac is at the foot of Lake Winnebago, and in the center of the state. The Retlaw itself is the biggest building here, with a big red glowing 'Retlaw' on top of it.

You can park on the street, or in the parking ramp behind the hotel. You know you'll have the right area, because there's a big bank kitty-corner from the hotel, and two bars on the other two corners(one is an ugly squat stone affair, the other one has canopies. The Retlaw itself has a bar in the downstairs. There's a saxophone in the window).

Here's a picture of the hotel, so you know what to look for:

Below are directions. If these folksy explanations don't do it...then click on this informative video guide!

From the North(from, say, GreenBay): Hwy 41 to Johnson st(hwy 23) exit. Go left over big bridge, and drive all the way down the strip, over the second big bridge, till you get to the Main street stoplight(walgreens is on the corner). Make a right onto Main. Division street, and the Retlaw, are just a few blocks away in the downtown area(see the pic above).

From the South(from, say, Milwaukee): Hwy 41 to the 175/Main street exit. They just rebuilt this intersection, so be sure to pay attention, as the route is all new!! When you get to the top of the exit ramp, turn left(this is where the new 151 bypass is being routed thru). Just past the white house and barn is the 175 exit. Follow it up. At the stop sign, turn left. You're now on hwy 175/main street, and after about 10 seconds this will look familiar to you again :-) Stay on main street all the way thru town. You'll pass thru several stoplights, and you'll notice that the street numbers will count down (from 21st street on down after you pass Tuckers and Gillies resturants). You'll eventually hit the downtown area, and you'll easily see the Retlaw(it's one of the tallest buildings in town; and has the big glowing Retlaw sign on top).

From the southwest(Madison, for example): Hwy 151 to Fond du Lac. Take 151 to the 175/Main st exit (on your right, you'll see a church). At the top of the ramp, go left. You could also take the Military Rd exit, and follow that into town (over the old 151 Bridge, now County D, that goes over hwy 41). You'll see fleet farm. Continue straight thru 2 more stoplights; at the second one(9th street/military road), turn right. Go several blocks till you get to two more stoplights; the second one is Main street, turn left. Drive until you see the Retlaw :-)

From the east or west: Eh, nobody's coming from the east or west, are they?

Dairycon is held in the Crystal Ballroom on the second floor of the Retlaw. Just walk thru the front lobby on Division. The elevators are just to the left of the Lobby Reception desk. There are luggage carts to help you haul your goodies in. Take the elevator to the 2nd floor, exit and go left, we're a straight shot from there! Dealers, if hauling up significant product, we now have direct access! You can either go to first floor freight, or to the second floor loading dock(directly off the parking ramp), which opens directly into the room. Click here to see our helpful video guide!
