Notes: A conversation about this page between Lewis and Fred. Lewis: "As incredibly amazing as Transformers (2007) was, they did make at least one little mistake. The Laurentian Abyss (where the deceased Decepticons were put at the end of the movie)) was stated to be 7 miles deep, but it is in reality only 3.7 miles deep. Challenger Deep in the Pacific Ocean, the deepest known place on earth is nearly seven miles down." Fred: "You didn't really need to explain that." Lewis: "Well, I figured a lot of people wouldn't get the joke that I was repeating the mistake from the movie. Michael Bay, being the genius he is rarely ever makes a mistake." Fred: "Pearl Harbor." Lewis: "Okay, he made one mistake." Fred: "Are you also going to explain that the last two members of the Fabulous Fourteen are poking fun at Hasbro because at least three of the Thrilling Thirty toys are exclusive to foreign conventions?" Lewis: "Um...yeah...I was. At least our joke toys are unique unlike their real ones. Hasbro's foreign Thrilling Thirty toys are just repacks or slight repaints of what we got here." Fred: "Not sure you needed to explain that either." Lewis: "Well, you know me. The only thing I like to take shots at more than Hasbro is Botcon." Fred: "Can't disagree with that. By the way, you forgot to mention that the aircraft carrier was a reference to Revenge of the Fallen." Lewis: "I thought that was obvious."
Fred: "*Sigh.*" |
